Canadian Society of Cardiac Surgeons
The Canadian Society of Cardiac Surgeons (CSCS) is an Affiliate Society of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS)
About Us
The CSCS mission is to promote and represent the specialty of cardiac surgery including but not exclusive to research, education, and sound clinical practice.
The CSCS strives to be responsive to its members’ needs. In addition to the educational activities we sponsor and develop, we have partnered to assess workforce issues hoping to project surgeon shortages in the future to help plan for our specialty’s growth. The CSCS plays a role in the development of training programs to help the field adapt to new technologies and embrace new techniques.
